Sign up for Text Trace

You can sign up to receive tracking information via text message for specific packages.

To sign up for Text Trace for all your orders, change your phone number, or cancel text Trace, go to Your Account and then under the Settings section, click Manage Text Tracking Alerts.

To follow a specific delivery:

  1. Go to Your Account and click Your Orders.
  2. Find the order you'd like to track and click Trace Your Package.
  3. You'll be shown the option to sign up for Text Trace for packages dispatched by


  • Your mobile phone number won't be used for anything else than sending Text Trace messages on delivery issues.
  • Amazon won't charge you for Text Trace. However, standard text messaging rates from your service provider may apply. Please contact them for more details.
  • Currently Text Trace doesn't support the ability to send texts to multiple phones about the same delivery.
  • The Text Trace option will be available if your order has been dispatched via a trackable service. If you've signed up to Text Trace on an account level, you'll only receive text messages when your parcel is trackable. Please note that Text Trace is only available for items dispatched by Items sold by Marketplace Sellers can't be tracked via Text Trace, unless they're part of the Fulfilled By Amazon programme.
